Ohio Moving Companies

If you need the best moving company in the state of Ohio, you’ve found it!

A move to Ohio means you will be in the company of some real statesmen. Ohio is a Midwestern U. S. state that has been the former home of as many as six U. S. presidents.  The state’s name originated from the Iroquois word meaning "great river" or "large creek,” and is nicknamed the "Buckeye State.”  Ohio’s state flag is the only state flag in the United States that is not a rectangle like other flags—it’s a pennant design.  Ohio’s landscape features plains, with an exceptionally flat area in the northwest.

Ohio's southern border is the Ohio River and much of the northern border is bound by Lake Erie.  Because of Ohio’s central location between the Northeast and the Midwest, much cargo and traffic comes through its borders along its well-developed highway network, and the state is within a one-day drive of at least half of North America's population and manufacturing capacity.  The state experiences typically hot and humid summers throughout, and winters generally range from cool to cold.  Some notable people from Ohio include Halle Berry, Neil Armstrong, Marilyn Manson, and Dave Grohl.

The largest city in the state and the capital is Columbus, one of BusinessWeek's 50 best cities in America in 2012.  A number of movies have been filmed on location in the city, such as Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs in 1991.  The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is world-renowned and one of the best zoos and aquariums in the United States.

In the town of Philo, there is a house made entirely of trash, affectionately referred to as “House of Trash,” and there is an unofficial Lego Museum in Bellaire.  In Bellefontaine, you can see the first concrete street in America was poured in 1891 near the Logan County Courthouse.

Cleveland, located in northeastern Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie, is one of the most populous cities in the state.  The waterfront Rock and Roll Hall of Fame can be found here.  Playhouse Square Center located in the city's Theater District was built in the 1920’s and operates nine main individual theaters.
