Foreign passport holders (with qualifying Visa) and returning NZ residents (who have lived outside NZ for more than 21 months) are allowed entry duty-free but may be subject to GST, provided the vehicle has been owned and used for one year prior to shipment and is not sold or disposed of for two years after importation. Most modern televisions will work in New Zealand.
