SIRVA Named to InformationWeek 500 for Sixth Consecutive Year

Company Ranks 85th on Annual Listing of Innovative Users of Information Technology

HSR Business to Business
CHICAGO (October 23, 2008) — SIRVA Inc., a global relocation service provider, has been named to the 2008 InformationWeek 500, InformationWeek’s annual list of the most innovative users of information technology (IT), for the sixth consecutive year.

SIRVA, which ranks 85th on the list of 500, was recognized for its use of inside Performance Management (iPM) applications. The company uses Web-based iPM assessment tools to create scorecards showing its agents’ performance against corporate goals and their performance against a network of their peers. SIRVA can measure sales, operations, quality, branding, safety, claims and facilities.

The tool provides SIRVA’s agents with the ability to monitor and improve their business performance, create strategic alignment and sustainable improvement in the total service delivery capability. When agents are underperforming, the tool notifies them and suggests courses of action to correct or improve performance by linking them to a library of best practices from other agents and from SIRVA.

“The role technology plays in business can’t be overstated. Using technology such as iPM, we have seen sales customer lead conversion increase 8 percent year over year on average across all agents,” says David La Rue, director, Enterprise Business Intelligence & Web Marketing for SIRVA. “Our iPM tools are just one example of how we empower our agents with the technology they need to improve performance, service quality and customer satisfaction.”

InformationWeek has identified and honored the nation’s most innovative users of information technology with its annual listing, for the past 20 years, and has tracked the technology, strategies, investments and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies. The InformationWeek 500 is unique among corporate rankings because it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders. Additional details on the InformationWeek 500 can be found online at www.informationweek.com/iw500.
