Household Movers: Quality Service
Nothing earns a customer's trust
during household moving like quality. We've always known that at Allied. In fact,
while some van lines talk quality, you've probably discovered it's difficult for
them to provide any tangible evidence to support their claim. Not a problem at Allied.
Quality Household Moving Services from Allied
In 1995, Allied Van Lines introduced our Quality Service Audit (QSA) to assure our
customers of getting the highest quality household moving service available anywhere.
Through extensive research, we identified the things that were most responsible
for customer satisfaction during their household moving experience. We used the
information we gathered to develop a uniquely comprehensive and accurate customer
service satisfaction survey, conducted by an independent third party, and continue
to use this system to raise the bar for setting quality performance measurement
standards.
Based on what we've learned, we have developed an assortment of exclusive, quality-enhancing
programs to assure every move we make is the right move:
Quality Alliance
Our Quality Alliance is a team of agents, drivers and other employees working to
ensure that Allied is constantly striving to maintain and improve each area of service.
The Alliance has developed and implemented a set of quality standards that rank
as the most comprehensive in the industry.
Allied University
Allied drivers are specially trained at our 3,000 square foot Allied University
campus in the proper techniques of maneuvering furniture and loading a truck. Courses
include customer service, safety and equipment standards. All Allied drivers attend
an intensive three-day session that combines classroom education with hands-on moving
instruction.
Allied Master Movers
Motivating our drivers to reach new levels of performance and expertise is what
keeps our service levels growing and improving. There are 10 rigorous standards
a driver must meet in order to attain the title of Allied Master mover including
two years of service, as well as ranking in the top percentage of all drivers in
customer service survey scores and claims.
Completion of our Master Moving School is also required. Designed in endowing drivers
with a better understanding of how performance can continually be improved, curriculum
covers the fleet ranking process, quality development, customer service, handling
claims, operations, shipment processing, pricing and safety.
In order to retain Master mover status, drivers must re-qualify each year.
Professional Driver Development Program
Drivers must complete this five-day, hands-on program designed to ensure driver
quality in load/unload techniques, paperwork preparation, customer service, communication
skills and claim prevention.
Equipment Standards
All vehicles must be inspected daily by the driver. There is a formal inspection
twice a year. Vehicles must be cleaned inside and out regularly, and appearance
must be at an acceptable level at all times.
With Allied Quality Services, Moving is Enjoyable
At Allied, we do the research regarding quality household moving for our customers
to provide them with the best possible experience. The many measures we take to
