ALLIED INTERNATIONAL HONORS NOR-CAL MOVING SERVICES WITH ITS 2008 CUSTOMER CHOICE AWARD
Household Goods Mover Recognized for Superior Customer Service
CHICAGO, March 16, 2009 — Allied International, a market leader in international household goods moving, announced the selection of NOR-CAL Moving Services, based in San Leandro, Calif., as its 2008 Customer Choice Award winner. This is the second year in a row NOR-CAL has received the prestigious award, which was presented to Anthony Vukovic, vice president of NOR-CAL, by Wes Lucas, CEO of Allied’s parent company SIRVA Inc. at Allied International’s recent Global Network Meeting in Singapore.
“We are proud to again recognize NOR-CAL for its unwavering commitment to providing superior customer service,” said Drew Coolidge, vice president and general manager of Allied International. “This is our most prestigious award because it’s based on survey ratings from our customers around the world. Being awarded this honor two years in a row is a direct reflection of NOR-CAL’s outstanding group of employees, all of whom should be very proud of this accomplishment.”
Allied International’s Customer Choice Award winner is chosen based on the best overall scores from more than 7,000 customer surveys, which focus on international packing and delivery services. All Allied agents in the United States and Canada are eligible for the award.
“We are very honored to receive this award and share it equally with everyone on our international team, who play such an important role in our growth and success,” said Peter P. Mazzetti Jr., president of NOR-CAL Moving Services. “We created our business based on a very simple philosophy – to provide San Francisco-area businesses with superior moving services. Based on our relationship with Allied International, we have been able to extend our services well beyond the Bay Area.”
Incorporated in 1982, NOR-CAL has become one of the largest full-service moving companies in the western U.S., providing services for domestic, international and office relocations along with storage and warehousing.
