SIRVA Vice President Makes 'Ones to Watch' List

Eric Dirst Recognized as Emerging Technology Leader

CHICAGO, June 10, 2005 — SIRVA, Inc., (NYSE: SIR), a global relocation services provider, announced that Eric Dirst, vice president and chief information officer of Moving Services and International Relocation with SIRVA, has been recognized by CIO magazine and the CIO Executive Council™ as one of the rising stars of information technology. Dirst was one of 33 honorees who received the magazine’s “Ones to Watch” award at the conclusion of the CIO Leadership Conference in Cambridge, Mass., in May.

“The Ones to Watch honorees are technology leaders who are contributing today to the growth and success of their organizations,” said Abbie Lundberg, editor in chief, CIO magazine. “Their skills and accomplishments will shape the future of information technology for years to come. The 2005 award winners were selected based on several factors, including their leadership abilities and drive to bring innovative IT solutions to their companies.

Dirst has worked in IT at SIRVA for four years and has served in several roles, including vice president of Applications Development and CIO of SIRVA Relocation. He has led teams responsible for a variety of projects, including consolidating four operational systems to one platform in less than two years while the business grew by more than 45 percent annually. Another project involved deploying a single Sales Force Automation system worldwide.
