Towson, Md., is a community in the Baltimore suburbs. The city’s history dates back to the 1700s when William and Thomas Towson began farming land that would eventually become Yok and Joppa roads. The Towson Hotel opened shortly after 1752 and in 1854 Towson became the seat of Baltimore County.

Towson play a role in two minor engagements during the Civil War, the first in 1861 and the second in 1864. When the population in the Baltimore suburbs grew after the end of World War II, so did Towson.

Reviews from maryland Customers

  • Everyone was very friendly and they worked very fast. Allied worked very hard and was very careful with my items.
  • I didn't have any problems. Everything was wonderful. During the move it was raining and the crew was very very careful. They put down padding to make sure they didn't track up the carpet.
  • The driver, loading, and unloading crew was very careful and made my moving experience and all around good experience.
  • The service was taken care of in a reasonable time. I believe the coordinator could've been more helpful. She was getting stressed out.
  • Other than the mixup of delivery items getting here, everything over all was good.I am very satisfied.
  • They were good at moving the exercise equipment & that was my main concern. They were also good at communicating & followed through with what they said they would do.
  • The crew & workers were very professional & curteous. My daughter referred us to Allied, & we were satisfied with the service. The Allied aent that helped us gave us a fixed price which was great.
  • The estimator, Mark, was very good. Mark was honest and upfront. I feel I received a good deal . I felt very comfortable.
  • I had a good experience from the very beginning. Allied was in contactwith me throughout the entire move. The movers had a high level of care.
  • I think the move for the most part went fairly well. I do not have anyexperience with any other moving companies so I do not know what to compare it to.
